I have my first meeting with my first client tommorow, what should I know? what should I ask? what should I learn? what are the prices?

You need to reccommend hosting services and plans (how much). You need to understand databases, probably MySQL. HTML, Javascript and CSS are essential, probably cgi scripting like Perl, Python or PHP and possibly asp, java, and/or Flash.
Prices may be dependent on where you live. Charge more in California or New York, less in North Dakota or Arkansas.
Either charge by the hour or the web page and complexity.
You should be able to reference other sites you’ve developed.

I recommend you to learn how to build modern websites with simple (CSS) elements and few java scripts. After all, website much contain all elements and things that customer requests.
Firstly you need to know which price you want to offer and how do you guarantee for success. It’s all up to you, don’t charge them too much (at least at beginning).
