Do any of you guys know how to make a website more visible on google?
The only way we can get our website to show up on google is if we type in our company name… if we type in a product or event that is unique to only us we wont show up on google.
(example: I type in modesto muffler and I get a list of all the muffler shops in Modesto)

meta tags, and you can buy hits, or just go to this site and type in a random name

you need to pay for it in googlead words.

I am pretty sure that money is involved. I know that my uncle, who happens to be well off, and not too careful with his money, tried to see how long he could keep his company (for puzzles) on top of the list when people would search puzzles, and he did have to pay a fair amount.

I don’t know about paying google but you could always try paying me and see if that helps

Paying is the best option ‘cuz it guarantees some success I’ve about 4 sites and free advertising doesn’t work. There are many sites where you can submit to Google but there’s no effect

If you are the only one who has a product in Modesto you should come up first. I am the web master for the only Unitarian Universalist congregation in Stanislaus County. Our site comes up first for the two words
