Okay, I have a Sony cybershot camera and I took video that I now have saved on my computer as InterVideo Media File and it is 147 MB. I want to put this video on my website (built using regular cpanel) but I assume it needs to be smaller and a different format to work right for the people who go to my site. What do I do to resize it and change the format and what format do I need to change it to, also what size does it need to be so people who don’t have internet as fast as mine can still view it without problems? Also I am just going to use the insert video link in the site builder…so it will play on the site and not have a link or anything like that. Thanks for your time!

You will need to convert the video to either Flash .flv *swf* or .wmv (windows Media video.) . then with the same application you used to convert the video, set the video size, it should be something like 450X 344.(standard size).
Now, upload the video to your hosting account(webhost), if you converted the video to .flv, you will need to upload a Flash video player to embeed the video and be able to playback. If you decided to convert it to wmv, just edit your .html file and insert the embeed code there. (google.com “,wmv embeed code*)
Now, if you want an easier method, convert the video to .SWF format, and insert the embeed code to your html file.
If you choose option 3 i am 99% sure it will be available for viewing in less than ten minutes.

best way is upload that video in youtube.com and link that video on to your website . if not want to do that than convert your video into flv Format

u need convert video to flash (.flv for example)
